QuiltMath Privacy Policy for iPhone & iPad

Effective date: September 6, 2026

This policy applies to QuiltMath for iOS and iPadOS, including its TestFlight beta, provided by Andrei Vasin under the name Broken Man Studios. It covers the free calculators and optional Premium and Extra features. For Android, see our Android apps privacy policy.

Calculations and local projects

QuiltMath does not require an app account. Calculator inputs, settings, named projects and layout plans are processed on your device. Saved projects are kept in the app's local storage. We do not operate a server that receives these inputs or stores copies of your projects. The app does not include advertising or analytics SDKs and does not track you across other apps or websites.

App Store purchases

Premium and Extra are optional one-time purchases processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. Apple supplies product information, localized prices and transaction or entitlement information so the app can unlock features and restore purchases. This information is processed on your device; QuiltMath does not send it to a developer-operated billing server. We do not receive your payment-card or bank-account details through the app.

Apple retains purchase records under its own policies. Apple Account, billing and refund requests are handled by Apple. Read Apple's Privacy Policy. An internet connection is required to retrieve products, purchase an upgrade or restore purchases; calculations and PDF generation work offline.

PDFs and sharing

PDF cutting sheets and visual plans are generated locally from your measurements. A generated file is shared outside the app only when you choose a destination using the system share controls. That destination, such as an email application or cloud-storage provider, handles the file under its own privacy practices. Copies you export are not deleted when you delete a project inside QuiltMath.

Permissions and device backups

QuiltMath does not request access to your contacts, location, camera or microphone. It uses the system interface for sharing generated files. Device backups, restoration and removal of app data are governed by your iOS or iPadOS settings and Apple's services. A device backup may include local app data; Broken Man Studios does not operate that backup service.

Retention and deletion

You can delete saved projects within QuiltMath. Local app data remains until you delete it or the operating system removes it. Deleting the app removes its local data according to iOS or iPadOS behavior; offloading an app can preserve its data. Manage backups and exported files separately. Because QuiltMath has no app account or developer-hosted project database, there is no remote app account or project copy for us to delete. Apple manages purchase records independently.

Support and TestFlight feedback

If you contact us, we receive the email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use these only to respond and investigate your request, retaining them only as needed to resolve it and meet applicable obligations. Do not send payment credentials or other unnecessary sensitive information. You can contact us about access to or deletion of your support correspondence.

During a TestFlight beta, Apple may make testing diagnostics and feedback available to us through TestFlight, including screenshots or comments you submit. This is separate from analytics embedded in the app. Apple's TestFlight and device privacy settings govern this process; we use such reports to investigate issues and improve the app.

Children's privacy

QuiltMath is a general-purpose quilting utility, not a child-directed service. It does not request children's personal information or provide social networking or messaging features.

Changes and contact

If a future version changes these practices, we will update this policy and the relevant App Store privacy information before releasing that change.
